How to Use the Date Calculator
- Days between dates: select a start and end date to get the total number of days, the number of weeks, and how many of those days are weekdays versus weekend days (holidays are not excluded).
- Add / subtract days: pick a starting date, choose "after" or "before," and enter a number of days to land on the resulting date — along with its day of the week.
Weekday and weekend counts use Monday–Friday and Saturday–Sunday only and do not account for public holidays.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I find the number of days between two dates?
- Pick a start date and an end date. The calculator shows the total days apart, the equivalent in weeks, and a breakdown of weekdays versus weekend days.
- How do I add or subtract days from a date?
- Use the "Add / subtract days" tab, choose a start date and direction (after or before), and enter the number of days. The result shows the new date and its day of the week.
- Do the weekday counts include public holidays?
- No. Weekdays are counted as Monday through Friday and weekend days as Saturday and Sunday. Federal or state holidays are not excluded.
- Is the end date included in the count?
- The day count is the difference between the two dates, so the span runs from the start date up to (but not including) the end date.
